Kenta Yasukawa received his Ph.D. degree from Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2008. When he started his Ph.D. study, he was appointed a research fellow DC1 at the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) and his study was funded by the society. During his Ph.D. study, he obtained an opportunity of working as a visiting scholar in the Internet Real-Time laboratory at Columbia University and studied there for ten months. After receiving the degree, he joined Ericsson Reseearch Japan and has been working as a research engineer.

What's hot

Haven't you ever wished if you could transfer a video clip you found on the Web to a TV in front of you? Have you ever thought of using your surronding devices from Web pages and apps seamlessly? Yes, I have. And, here is a solution. Ericsson Labs Web Device Connectivity platform makes it real. I am one of the main developers of the platform and its concept, and the one who strongly wanted to make it happen.
